Sellers Terms and Conditions
ITEMS FOR SALE
The Little Trading Post (LTP) is the go-between from the buyer and seller.
In most cases, LTP will never see the physical sale item until it sold.
It is the seller's responsibility to accurately describe the item they are selling so the buyer receives true information about the item. If the buyer feels the item is of lesser quality than described or is damaged, they have 24 hours from pick up to advise LTP.
At this point, the seller will be informed. LTP will arrange for the item to be returned to the seller and money refunded back to the purchaser. The seller will be required to pay LTP the commission that would have been received if the sale was successfully delivered as this was of no fault of LTP.
The seller's items may be removed from LTP if they are not selling or seasons have changed. In most cases, items will be listed online for up to 2 months, however, this is product pending. The removal of items from LTP will be at the discretion of LTP.
PAYMENT
Payment to the seller will be made via direct deposit from LTP after the item has been paid and collected by the buyer. There will be a 24-hour stand-down period where the buyer has the right to return the item if it does not match the description provided or is damaged.
The seller will be paid the purchase amount, less a 15% commission or $4 fee for LTP services, whichever is greater.
PRIVACY & SAFETY
All contact and bank account details provided by the seller and buyer will remain confidential unless agreed by both parties.
